What Will Learn?
Physics is the fundamental pure science and plays an important role in all the natural sciences. Physics can be defined as the science of matter, motion and energy. The ultimate aim of the learner in physics is to find a string of laws that are reliable, self- sufficient and connect to each other at some level. Physics reveals the mathematical beauty in the universe at scales ranging from subatomic to cosmological level.
Studying physics strengthens quantitative reasoning and problem solving skills that are important in areas beyond physics. Students who study physics are prepared to work on forefront ideas in science and technology, academia, the government or the private sector. Careers might focus on basic research in astrophysics, cosmology, particle physics, atomic physics and photonics etc.
Physics and related studies are great preparation for almost any career because they teach students how to analyze complex problems and provide them a strong mathematical background that can be applied in any technical field.
We offer a faculty for teaching physics at such levels that are oriented to a range of goals that students have in studying physics-electing courses to widen one’s scientific knowledge, meeting the eligibility criteria for major in sciences or engineering, or working towards a degree in physics or one of its more specified branches.
